Complications from wearing a mask? Is your skin breaking out?
Recently, many of you have asked us what we recommend to help protect your skin when wearing a mask. We realize that wearing a mask can cause breakouts, rashes and other skin problems on your face. And although “maskne” (mask + acne) isn’t always related to acne, you might notice some facial breakouts as a possible side effect of mask use. You also may be more likely to experience face-related issues if you are sensitive to humid or dry air or experience rosacea, eczema, allergy or acne conditions.
Active Remedy: Protecting Serum
Based on feedback from you, we have created a serum to help beat the “mask blues.” Rich in healing and protective antioxidants, essential oils and extracts, this formula is specifically designed to protect your skin and build its natural immune system.
Zinc protects your skin and aids in wound healing and cell regeneration. Potent antioxidant vitamins protect and nourish to help prevent free radical damage. Cinnamon bark’s anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties help control skin blemishes and acne. Carrot seed oil is exceptionally therapeutic for skin conditions such as eczema, rosacea and wounds. It helps free the skin cells from toxic materials and promotes the growth of new cells in damaged skin.
We recommend using this serum with French Lavender HydraMist for optimum protection and healing.
TO USE: Before wearing mask, mist lightly and then massage in Active Remedy. Repeat after removing mask. If wearing a mask for 8+ hours, refresh as needed during the day. This can be applied over your daily skin care protocol.
NOTE: This product is very multi-purpose. It may also be used as a spot treatment for acne prone skin, as well as for bug bites, wounds, cuts or rashes.
