Botanical Enzyme Masque

The Beauty of Fruit Enzymes

Why fruit enzymes?

Fruit enzymes provide “retinol” like action to gently exfoliate while hydrating your skin. They are comprised of amino acids that act as a catalyst, speeding up or allowing reactions to happen in conditions that they usually wouldn’t. These enzymes break down the keratin protein in the upper layer of the skin which bonds dead skin cells together. This encourages the gentle sloughing off of the dead skin cells, resulting in smoother softer skin that also helps diminish scars and pigmentation.

This exfoliation is especially important on a regular basis so that your hydrating and moisturizing products will be more easily absorbed.

Botanical Enzyme Masque

Benefits

  • Promotes skin elasticity.  Retinol-like action promotes skin tone and firmness, as well as helps prevent wrinkles.
  • Brightens skin for a renewed complexion.  Exfoliation through fruit enzymes results in maximized cell renewal.  Cell renewal = noticeably younger looking skin!
  • Boosts hydration.  The hydrating base of this masque increases water content in the skin and helps improve water retention over time.
  • Higher absorption of skin care products.  Is this the most important benefit?  You decide!  Sloughing off the buildup of dry skin cells  allows your hydrating and moisturizing products to be more easily absorbed … which means maximum benefits.

How to Use

For optimal results, use for 10 consecutive nights, then 1 – 3 times per week. After cleansing, massage gently onto face and neck for one minute. Leave on for 10-20 minutes. Rinse. Follow with your normal nighttime protocol.

NOTE:  While masque sets, you may mist your face once or twice with the Fruit Enzyme HydraMist to enhance absorption and moisten skin. While any hydramist will work with this masque, the Fruit Enzyme HydraMist is an especially effective complement because of its exfoliating properties.

Scent

While using this masque, enjoy the delicious and intoxicating scent of extracts of peach, apple, pomegranate and coconut!
